Between September 2021 and May 2023, ISEN took part in an ERASMUS+ project with five other schools from different countries:
• Střední průmyslová škola chemická, Pardubice, Czechia
• Istituto di Istruzione Superiore Pietro Scalcerle, Padova, Italy
• Abidin Pak-Pakmaya Anadolu Lisesi, Edremit-Balıkesir , Türkiye
• Escuela F.P. Salesianos Juan XXIII, Alcoi, Spain
• Stredná odborná škola chemická, Bratislava, Slovakia
• Valgamaa Kutseõppekeskus, Valga, Estonia
Our aim was to improve how we teach and learn by blending Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) with digital technologies in STEM subjects.
Our method helped teachers go beyond traditional textbooks and use digital tools like videos, audio, and interactive activities to make lessons more interesting. This helped students learn English better and understand STEM subjects more deeply.
We worked closely with our partner schools to create useful resources, like a survey about how we use this method, a guidebook for teachers, and a collection of lesson plans. We also organised a fun competition for students from different countries. Overall, our project was a success, and we held training sessions and exchange programs to share our ideas with others.
